Jamilia Land is a wife, mother, criminal and restorative justice activist, public speaker, and co-founder of A.S.A.P (Anti-Violence, Safety and Accountability Project) a 501(c)(3) organization centered on the mental health and well being of children and families impacted by police and community gun violence as well as incarceration. A Bay Area native, this outspoken, focus driven, and sometimes controversial activist devotes the majority of her time fighting for the rights of incarcerated individuals and families of victims of police brutality. She received her BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Business Administration, marketing emphasis with a minor in Technology, Arts & Media. She is a Project Manager for Future Coalition and supported projects including Earth Day Live and Vote With Us. Simone supports youth-led grassroots organizations and coalitions including the US Climate Strike Coalition and Stop the Money Pipeline Coalition (STMP) in the climate movement. Elijah Brown

Elijah Brown is a Digital Broadcast journalist at the S.I. Newhouse School of Syracuse University, a researcher for iSchool media databases, and advocate for social justice. As an editor of WAER News, a public media organization that covers stories important to Central New York, he has published numerous stories on the microcosms of the 2020 Racial Reckoning. His latest research project titled “Critical Conscious Theory”, studies how one’s digital footprint can act as a building block for social justice attitude development.

Azalea Danes is an 18-year-old advocate, writer, and full-time college student studying political science and philosophy. She became involved in political activism following the 2016 election, and began organizing seriously as a member of the NYC Climate Justice movement in 2018. While co-organizing five major climate justice strikes, including the worldwide September 20th Global Climate Strike, she co-founded the NYC Climate Justice Coalition, connecting passionate youth organizers around climate and social justice.
